I can't believe it has been a week since my last blog! I had a great weekend in Paris but I am too busy at the moment to blog about that. I hope to update you all on my adventures in Paris on Friday. I had 7.5 hours of class today and I still have to write an essay and do my grammar homework. I am exhausted from my classes and the weekend in Paris so it is going to be difficult to stay awake long enough write an essay and do my hw.

We started new grammar classes yesterday. It was everyone from my old class plus 3 new people and a new prof. The new prof is a lot more strict and orderly than our other prof. The other Laura from the CSB/SJU group is in my class, like last month. Our last prof was ok with it and just would say Laura Buggy or Laura Beach when calling on one of us. However, the new prof things that we will get confused and wouldn't accept us to both go by Laura. So she asked if we had middle names...well of course we do. She liked my middle name (I like it too :)), Jacqueline, so for the next month, I am now Jacqueline.
Today I had my first cinema class. It was pretty intense. It was a lot more dense than the grammar class and it was 3.5 hours long. The prof doesn't know any English (but he knows Latin, Greek and German) and there are only 3 of us in the class! It will be interesting but challenging at the same time! He talks pretty fast and doesn't write much on the board. It is hard to take notes since not much is written on the board and it is so much new information! So I was really tired after having 3 hours of grammar and then 3.5 hours of cinema. But I wasn't done yet. I had to go directly from cinema to the theater because we had our first meeting for the theater class...yep, I'm going to be in a play. I don't have a part yet because the director of the college, who writes and directs the plays has only written 2 scenes and about half the people still need a role. And now, here I am. Luckily dinner was only an hour after the theater meeting started so it only lasted an hour. From now on I will have 6.75 hours of class on Mondays, 3 hours on Tuesdays, 7.5 on Wednesdays, 6.75 on Thursdays and 3 on Fridays....I'm not sure how I am going to survive! I am already tired after 2 days of class this week (we were in Paris on Monday). Well, I better start my essay and homework! Here are a few preview pictures from Paris.
